Hi!

I am the owner of this blog, and a psychology student who has fallen in love with social psychology due to its relevance to daily living and usefulness in developing critical thinking skills. To get you to trust me a little so you'll actually take my advice, I want to tell you a little more about myself.

I am a HUGE romantic despite having never been in a relationship. I am a sucker for romance TV shows and movies despite recognizing their tendency to portray romantic relationships in unrealistic and idealized ways. For example, how many of us would actually be willing to wait 20 years for the love of their life to return to them!

As a single since birth, I have a unique advantage of studying relationships with a more objective lens as an outsider. People in relationships can sometimes put their partners on a pedestal and be blind to their "red flags." My friends come to me for their relationship struggles despite me not having been a relationship before. Although I do enjoy listening to others opening up to me about both the ups and downs of their relationships, I may want to send this blog to them during the 10th call about "should I breakup with them?"

So, I wanted to combine both what I have learned so far in the field as well as anecdotes I've gathered from the people in my life and from TV into this step-by-step guide in securing your soulmate!
